Can anyone give me a list of creative Halloween costume ideas for teens?

I'm looking for creative ideas on Halloween costumes. I am fourteen, a freshman in high school. I want something unique, cute, and interesting. I really DON'T PLAN ON BUYING a costume from Party City or any stores like that. I just need ideas, and then I will probably make them myself and buy accessories for it. Any ideas? Please list, Thank you :)
