I plan on dressing as a fairy this year. I already have some regular everyday makeup that I would love to use to paint my face (great colors but mostly in powder form). However I'm worried they wont last very long, especially on places like my cheeks. Is there some sort of base i can put on to make it stay put? Any suggestions?

Where can you find the best instructions for "cool" Halloween makeup and home-made costumes? This should include sfx as well as make-up for those with latex allergies. Not for young children. This would be for teens. From very scary to merely spooky to beautiful fairy princess to pop culture to celebrities to crazy funny. Ideas should be fun, fully fleshed out (no pun intended), include all materials needed as well as approximate time to complete. And, this is a biggie, ideas should be mostly original. Anything like this out there? Thanks in advance!

Ok so my friend's having a contest for halloween which is coming up and we have to think of a creative Halloween makeup look that's not too "costume-y" like no facepaint, and that fake stuff, just makeup. I can't think of any looks to do, someone help me please!

put eyeliner in spindley forms for a fairy, and if you want to look old put eyeliner where old people get wrinkles....i hope htis was helpful

For my halloween costume, I am going to be a ceramic doll, with a cracked face. But how do I make a jagged split with a crackle look around it with makeup?

The halloween costume is for a sith, so if anyone knows how to do makeup or use face paint to make blue eyes a little more yellow, or just sith makeup in general, that would be great. Thanks!
This is for my little brother, btw, so I'm it's not as if I'm a crazy in-love-with-Star-Wars person or anything...

Use a very light color foundation around and on eyes, follow with a yellow eye shadow. Make your eyelids a bit of a darker yellow by mixing a little brown into the yellow shadow. Then fade it out to a lighter yellow. This will give a more dramatic effect making the eye appear deep. Also use a brown eyeliner around eye.

I have a lot of high quality Halloween makeup and I know people who are pretty good with using it. So I'd like to do something cool with it but I don't know what. Are there any websites that like show pictures of really cool stuff you can do with Halloween makeup? I just need some ideas of what I can do for a costume using makeup. Thanks
