I was really hopeing to go to knotts scary farm this month, and i want to go on halloween! But i dunno what i should wear! I actually want to wear my costume, but do i have to wear normal clothing? ooh, and i have another Question, why dont they want people to have chains and stuff in the park?

Knotts Scary Farm is NO costumes allowed. You can verify that on the website. I went the last 2 years and those are the rules, you won't be admitted with one on. It's so fun though!! You'll have a great time. I pre-ordered the buffet and event tickets so that's how I knew ahead of time. The buffet rocks too and you get in much earlier (45-1hr) than everyone buying tickets at the door if you do buffet but...you have to reserve that ahead of time.

I need any good scary halloween costumes for teens. Anything is great. I don't care if it uses masks or if its boyishh. I just need something scaryy. Thank youu!

something that died and came to life like zombie/black widow/dead cheerleader/ or a vampiress.. or some really scary characters from movies like i dunno what are some movies that u find really scary? last year i saw ppl with the puppet from saw that was pretty freaky, or u could be chucky's bride, or something like that

me and my homeboys were at the walmart super center in baytown tx lookin at some costumes for halloween and we felt like doing something funny so my homeboy abraham put on a scary costume and hid with the rest of the costumes to blend and waited till my homegirl past by then the scared the out of her... we totaly set her up for that you had to be there
this is like a little shor film blooper kinda i don't know lol we were just bored at walmart and wanted to have a little fun next time we just gonna do it to random people that we don't even know hope we don't get our kicked lol

next time we should use a scary costume like micheal myers, freddy krueger, jason, chucky, the ring, grudge, saw, zombie, ghost etc. or a funny costume

I see a lot of comments about how people aren't wearing traditional scary costumes anymore. I'm curious about this because when I was a kid in the seventies, there were plenty of kids wearing both scary and non-scary costumes, everything from princesses to star wars to superheroes, etc. mixed in with classic halloween figures like vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and witches, etc.

So I'm a little confused about the "what ever happened to Halloween" comments, unless you happened to have grown up in a previous decade when it might have been a standard, or in a place/country where people dressed exclusively in scary costumes. I understand that some people like to keep with the traditional idea of Halloween, where you are supposed to be blending in with the spooks. Just wondering where and when people grew up that unscary costumes were not common.

Please share your opinions about why you prefer scary or non-scary costumes or like both.

We always tell our kids that we are Halloween purists: the costumes have to be scary in some capacity. The thing is, almost every costume is scary to someone (I know I'd run screaming from a Paris Hilton costume--she gives me the creeps). Wild animals are scary (to other animals) and princesses might be frightening to the masses of people living under the threat of imperialistic rule. Our other requirement is that the costume include a warmness factor without covering the costume. Otherwise, what's the point? My kids haven't gone as ballerinas or anything else that's going to be too cold.

But seriously, I like all costumes as long as they show thought and/or effort. I think it should all count. I also prefer costumes that don't require 20 questions. If that means wearing a "Hello. My name is: " tag, so be it.

I prefer spooky... Cute or pretty is one thing, but I'm so tired of the "sexy" (which has now morphed further into trashy) trend, that isn't what Halloween is about... I'm not warped by society to think the way it wants women to, I think for myself.

i want a scary costume but cute for 13 year old girls nothing slutty or skanky but like HOT for 7th graders
