scary costumes & decorations for Halloween?
I have always wanted to live where I could decorate my yard (a little) and dress up to sit on the porch and hand out candy. Well a couple months ago my fiance’ & I moved into a neighborhood that would allow me to do this with lots of young kids that live there also. My question is what are some inexpensive ways to decorate that would be kind of spooky? Also my fiance’ is going to dress up along with me…we would like to be kind of scary, any suggestions on something we could do inexpensive..we have some $ to spend but we should have started saving sooner but we didn’t about it. Thanks for your help
When I was a kid, the scariest thing I remember (and it was the reason why I do up my yard big-time with Halloween decor) was a statue in a neighbor’s yard.
It was just some mock-up body dressed in miscellaneous costume stuff and it was standing in the yard near the street for several weeks before Halloween. I became accustomed to seeing it and walking by it. Then on Halloween, when I walked up to the house, I walked by the statue just as usual because I was used to it. But as I passed, it reached out and grabbed part of my costume! I guess the neighbor had put on the costume clothes from the "statue" and stood in its place. It was both scary and funny at the same time.
One of my best tricks it to make ghosts for the yard. I hammer some electrial conduit (cheap pipe) into the ground and push a styrofoam ball on the top if it and put sheets over these. The sheets are secured to the ground using heavy gauge wire "staples." On Halloween night, I attach glow sticks to the bottom of the foam heads underneath the sheet. They glow and are quite spooky.
I also have my version of a crashed witch. I use a large plastic cauldron (secured from inside using a tent stake). There are also two large holes in the bottom for more conduit pipe. These will become the legs of the witch. I painted some pool noodles (the ones with holes through them) with stripes and place them over the pipe. Top them with purple boots (old ones I painted with spray paint). Yet another hole in the bottom of the cauldron is where I push a cheap prop broom (even a dollar store broom is good and funny) into the ground.
Hang a couple of skeletons in the trees, use lots of mood music, and anything else you can find. Build your set-up over time and you’ll find your garage soon stuffed with Halloween display supplies. Enjoy!!

Scary versus Non-Scary Halloween Costumes. Your thoughts.?
I see a lot of comments about how people aren’t wearing traditional scary costumes anymore. I’m curious about this because when I was a kid in the seventies, there were plenty of kids wearing both scary and non-scary costumes, everything from princesses to star wars to superheroes, etc. mixed in with classic halloween figures like vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and witches, etc.
So I’m a little confused about the "what ever happened to Halloween" buy Levitra Super Active+ online comments, unless you happened to have grown up in a previous decade when it might have been a standard, or in a place/country where people dressed exclusively in scary costumes. I understand that some people like to keep with the traditional idea of Halloween, where you are supposed to be blending in with the spooks. Just wondering where and when people grew up that unscary costumes were not common.
Please share your opinions about why you prefer scary or non-scary costumes or like both.
We always tell our kids that we are Halloween purists: the costumes have to be scary in some capacity. The thing is, almost every costume is scary to someone (I know I’d run screaming from a Paris Hilton costume–she gives me the creeps). Wild animals are scary (to other animals) and princesses might be frightening to the masses of people living under the threat of imperialistic rule. Our other requirement cialis soft tablets is that the costume include a warmness factor without covering the costume. Otherwise, buy cialis online what’s the point? My kids haven’t gone as ballerinas or anything else that’s going to be too cold.
But seriously, I like all costumes as long as they show thought and/or effort. I think it should all count. I also prefer costumes that don’t require 20 questions. If that means wearing a "Hello. My name is: " tag, so be it.

Do you like to wear scary costumes or sexy costumes for Halloween?
I cialis cipla prefer spooky… Cute or pretty is one thing, but I’m so tired of the "sexy" (which has now morphed buy Lariam online further into trashy) trend, that isn’t what Halloween is about… I’m not warped by society to think the way cialis online it wants women to, I think for myself.
