I need ideas for a Renaissance women’s costume. It has to be SIMPLE, maybe something I can put together at home buying minimal items. I’m not a big fan of skirts (especially the really big kind) but if there is a simple, subtle skirt pattern I’ll try it. Please help, thanks!

one last idea- this works if your a single mom- buy a wedding dress that fits from thrift store or buy a simple wed dding dress pattern and ether die it black or sew it out of black fabric. take one of those flowered head bans and spray it black and tie some sheer black fabric to head piece ( you want it to look like its a black shredded val) for added effect buy a fake black crow and wire it to the head piece.

I am so sick of all these girls wearing the same old thing over and over again every year. We’ve been trying to decide on something.
