How can I make my halloween makeup last longer?

I plan on dressing as a fairy this year. I already have some regular everyday makeup that I would love to use to paint my face (great colors but mostly in powder form). However I’m worried they wont last very long, especially on places like my cheeks. Is there some sort of base i can put on to make it stay put? Any suggestions?

    try some foundation under, or a good primer will help it last longer.

    use foundation or primer on your cheeks

    then just get eye paint or a makeup stick for your eyes

    use a pressed powder after your makeup is done pressed powder holds your makeup in place and lasts longer
